Langtang valley trek is considered as an easy trekking route in Nepal which drags you in a valley surrounded by mountains without gaining any strenuous altitude level in a minimum of the days from Kathmandu than another trekking route in the Himalaya. Langtang village is situated near the Tibet border North of Kathmandu inhabit by Tibet origin people which can be a perfect place to experience the Tibetan lifestyle and culture. Hiking in Langtang valley offers an easy walk through the temperate forest providing opportunities to encounter highland wildlife Such as monkeys, musk deer, barking deer, and occasionally the most desired Red Pandas. This trekking is recommended for all age groups because of its easy accessibility.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by our office representative who will then take you to the hotel. O/N at a hotel.
Leaving Kathmandu, you will drive to Syabru Besi, which is the beginning point of the trek to Langtang Valley. The roads are quite uneven and windy yet entertaining. Experience the amazing view of Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges en route to Syabru Besi. Enjoy the serene environment of the beautiful town of Syabru Besi. Stay overnight in Syabru Besi.
Descend to Bhote Koshi River and cross the suspension bridge to enter Langtang Valley. Follow Langtang River upstream through the lush forest of rhododendron and bamboo and pass through scattered settlements to reach Lama Hotel. Enjoy the view of Naya Kang (5844m) and Langtang II (5696m) from Lama Hotel. Stay Overnight in Lama Hotel.
Ascend gradually to the narrow track that takes you further to Langtang village, a Tamang village with the attractive view of Langtang Lirung (7227m), rhododendron forests, agro fields, and stone thatched houses with yaks and wild goats as their pets. Explore the village and the amazing surrounding. Overnight in Langtang village.
Leaving Langtang village behind, you continue your trek alongside Langtang River to reach Kyanjin Gompa. A few ascends and descends take you to the ancient monastery which is deemed the most sacred by the Tamang locals of Langtang valley. Kyanjin Gompa also hosts amazing views of the Langtang range along with other snowy peaks like Dorje Lakpa (6966m), and Langshisa Ri (6560m). Stay overnight in Langtang village.
Today you take a day off trekking to explore the outskirts of Kyanjin Gompa. You can hike up to Kyanjin Ri (4773m) and Tserko Ri (4984m) for a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. You can later explore the monastery and local cheese factory of Kyanjin while interacting with the locals of the village. Stay overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.
After a wonderful stay in Kyanjin, you retrace your way back to the Lama Hotel through the trails alongside the Langtang River. Walkthrough lush rhododendron forests and pass Langtang village and Ghoda Tabela to arrive in Lama Hotel. Stay overnight in a guest house Lama Hotel.
Continue to retrace your trail alongside Langtang River as you make your way towards Sybru Besi. The mesmerizing view of mountains, green landscape, and the Tamang villages adorn your way. Descend gradually and then steeply on a ridge above Langtang River to reach Sybru Besi. Overnight at a local guesthouse.
Today you drive back to Kathmandu enjoying the view of the Trishuli River for the most part of the journey. The view of the local villages and the green landscape zooming of beside you is certainly heavenly to look at. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. Afterward, feel free to stroll around and explore the city. Overnight in a hotel.
After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for your scheduled flight to your onward destination. Farewell

The following are what we advise you obtain in the way of equipment and gear before trekking in Nepal, and are meant to keep you mobile and comfortable in a range of expected weather conditions. Trekking gear can be rented or purchased in Kathmandu at cheaper prices, remember Nepal is the home of Mount Everest, there is plenty of choice and our staff can assist you with the necessary arrangements. Except for your day pack, all luggage will be carried by porters. There is an allowance of 33lbs/15kg per person. Additional personal items not needed for the trekking portion of the trip can be checked in the hotel’s storage room for no extra cost.
