The Kathmandu Mountain Biking Tour ride around the Kathmandu Valley takes you to the hills station on the Valley Rim. The tour passes through the most beautiful Buddhist Monasteries, such as Namobuddha and Panuti and Dhulikhel. These monasteries explore the rich rural culture of the valley. During this biking tour we will take you to the Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. You can also seeboth Nagarkot and Chisapani. The views of the Himalaya are simply breath-taking. Kathmandu Valley Mountain Biking tours start from the Kathmandu Valley to Shivapuri Village. Shivapuri National Park has a 09 km route we call the "Scar Road". On the next days the ride takes you to the Shivapuri to Chisapani. You will climb back up onto a flat jeep trail that traces the valley rim for 7km. You will have a single track while riding in this trail. In Mulkharka you will have a lunch and stay overnight at Chisapani. The next day you will continue your ride to Nagarkot. The tracks are a narrow path leading downwards. It?s quite technical and depending on the season there might be some carrying involved. While you ride from Nagarkot to Namobuddha, we head down hill on unused jeep tracks and through Tamang Villages. We ride downwards to Nala then move towards Dhulikhel passing the flat roads. Namobuddha is a gorgeous Monastery tucked away on a ridge. From Namobuddha you will follow the narrow tracks towards to LakuriBhangyang which takes 06 hours. The last day of this mountain biking tour is from Lakuri to Asapuri and then drive back to Kathmandu. On this day we will ride along the ridge with spectacular views and some awesome sections of a single track. You will follow the Hindus temple AsapuriMahadev, and then climb to the giant statue of Shiva, one of the most important Hindu Gods.
